The name Druids Heath comes from the Drews family, who worked in the area in the mid-19th century. [1]
Druids Heath is in the local council ward of Selly Oak [2], which is represented by Liberal Democrat David Radcliffe.[3] It is also in the parliamentary constituency of Selly Oak. Therefore, it is represented in the House of Commons by the Labour Member of Parliament (MP) Steve McCabe.
